  1. I can't really comment on your concept as I have no written information to comment on, but so far the designs are looking appealing. On the third page it appears as though you have decided to focus on one titan only, Zeus. The way the 'T' incorporates a lightening bolt in the stem stroke of is very effective. It looks attractive and portrays might/power /strength. The location of the lightening bold could be seen as a significant factor in the design too as it is positioned directly in the middle of the stroke. This could be purely for aesthetic purposes, however it can also be interpreted to symbolise the power the team has from within. Each player has their own strength inside themselves, at the centre of their being, and only when in combat upon the football field will their hidden power be unleashed from within.
The use of the shield shape links the logo design to the AFL. The shield symbol is commonly used in football related designs such as key rings, artwork – t-shit designs etc, and features in many of the teams logos (North Melbourne, Hawthorn, St. Kilda, Geelong, Fremantle, and the recently redesigned logos of Melbourne and Richmond). Shields often appear in sporting logos as a reference to awards and plaques implying that they are a winning team. Shields also represent defence and protection. This interpretation is derivative from the middle ages when shield were used as a part of their armour when going into battle as a means of defence to shield themselves from the blows of an opponent. The inclusion of the shield suggests that not only does the team have a powerful attacking forward line, but they also pride themselves on strong defence as defending their goal posts is just as important as the scoring goals.
Although the logo design is very effective at showing power/force, the logo is representative of only one of twelve main Titans. Although Zeus may be interpreted as being the most important of the Titans as he defeated them and became the king of the gods and ruler of Mount Olympus, each Titan had their own role and played a significant part in Greek Mythology and should not be overlooked. The other Titans should be represented in some way within the design. Focus may remain upon Zeus, however the other eleven main Titans should be represented in at least some small way, such as a circle of eleven/twelve dots of some other representative symbol of some sort either around the 'T' or shield, or even reduced and positioned behind the 'T' inside the shield shape. Perhaps the shield could incorporate eleven/twelve stripes. These could run parallel to the 'T' symbolising their relation to Zeus, but their thickness and position in comparison to the 'T' shows how Zeus hold his power over them. The stripes could symbolise the conflict between the Titans and Zeus if they were to run perpendicular to the stem stroke of the 'T'.
